I arrived at Cetus needing major engine repairs and was immediately put at ease after having an intelligent and insightful chat with Fred Tucker the shop manager. He explained their cost for this common repair (cam and lifters for a 5.7 Hemi) would be $1000 to $1500 less than a dealership and he was bang on at $1180.00 less for the basic Mopar parts and labor, in fact, I saved enough that even after getting extra work done including new plugs, push rods, exhaust manifold bolts, valve guides, in house machine work done on the heads, etc. the total costs were still less than what the dealership quoted me for the basic cam and lifter replacement. Like Fred said "we do a ton of these". This is a testament to their automotive experience and competence not to mention the repairs being done in a timely manner with attention to detail. Tammy in the office knows what she's talking about and kept me up to date regularly as the repairs were being completed. She wasn't running to talk to the mechanic and calling me back, she had answers. She also provided me with a Santa Fe SUV loaner to drive while my truck was in the shop that saved me $200.00 plus for a rental. I can honestly say this is the best experience I have ever had with an auto repair shop in my 45 years driving and will definitely be returning for any major repairs in the future.
