After several attempts to reach you regarding this review with no success we will address your comments now. The invoices on file indicate that we have never done a block heater for you. We did do a heater core in January 2017 at 221,000km. if that is what you are referring to. The truck was last in on February 2019 for no heater fan operation. We diagnosed it and found that one of the blend door actuator motors wasn't working so the fan went into limp-in mode. We recommended replacing the actuator motor but you declined the repairs. The mileage at that time was 295000Km. As for the oil consumption, we replaced the defective camshaft and rebuilt the cylinder heads in July 2016 at 207000KM. You did return to the shop on several other visits after that for regular maintenance with no issues. There was an oil consumption problem in July 2017 at 241000KM We replaced the valve seals under warranty even though you were over the warranty mileage. Hi Andrew, We followed up on your service work and found your work order from Nov. 2017. The Groupon that you purchased was for a tire rotation from summers to winter with your tires already on rims. Usually the tires are already balanced when it's on the rim so we don't include balancing to keep the cost down on the Groupon. If you call around $20.00 to balance a tire is competitive. All tires are installed and torqued to the manufactures spec. I checked your invoice and the tech torqued and recorded the spec at 80 Ft lbs. It's Not clear as to why the studs broke off on removal and It doesn't make Sense that the dealer replaced the studs for free but the danger in loosing a wheel is when the wheel is loose. I'm not sure why you waited almost 2 years to post a bad review but had you contacted us directly when you were having a problem we would have done our best to help you out. We have been repairing cars in Calgary for 35 years now and have thousands of satisfied customers because that is our goal. I'm sorry that your experience wasn't the same.
